2020-2021 Audition Materials are now available!!!

Audition Packet

LVA Mariachi Auditions will be held at LVA on Saturday, January 11 & 25

Mariachi auditions will be done by appointment.

To secure an audition time, first, apply online by clicking the link below.

*prepare the audition materials paying attention to tempo markings, fingerings, articulations, and chords

*secure an audition time by calling (702)799-7800, ext. 4202

*come to the audition with your own instrument (no instruments will be provided)

*bring music and instrument to the audition

*be prepared to perform the audition music as well as sight-read short piece

*each audition is limited to 10 minutes

*all scales do not need to be memorized but must be played at the designated tempo

*audition will include one short sight-reading piece

*Please do not bring letters of recommendation or grades to the audition

*parents are not allowed in the audition but may wait in the warm-up room
